CRICKET RULES
Year group fixture evenings throughout the year to help continuity .
Major tournaments in all age groups to be organised by the elected school.
All league results go to the Tony Miller Trophy for the top performing school.
Students may play for one age group only except at Year 11 level where any student can be selected.
League Calculation:
4 points are awarded for a win.
2 points for a draw.
1 point for a loss .
Games must be claimed when teams do not fulfil fixtures. Failure to fulfil a fixture = 0 points.
Team obtaining a walkover win for opposition's failure to fulfil fixture = 4 points.
League Guidelines
1. Matches are 11 - a - side.
2. Games to be of 16 overs per team or by agreement.
3. No bowler can bowl more than 4 overs .
4. Batsmen retire at 30 and may not return to bat once this total has been reached.
5. Teams are not allowed to have more than 4 players within 15 metres of the boundary at any point of the match.
6. There is no time limit on games, although teams should be encouraged to maintain a high over rate.
7. Matches should follow ECB junior cricket guidelines and directives.

Teams who have committed to playing in the league must fulfil their fixtures.
